If our laboratory migrates from LIMS-plus v3.x to LIMS-plus v4, can we continue to use our HHP TT3100 and HHP TT8500 signature pad devices within the LIMSv4 application?

Description:

The Welch Allyn and Hand Held Products signature pads used by LIMS-plus v3x will no longer be supported under v4.

Root Cause:

Their programming interfaces are not compatible with .NET and the hardware price is becoming prohibitive for many labs.

Resolution:

LIMSplus v4 will use the Topaz Systems signature pad model T-LBK462-HSB-R. This is a USB, backlit model.
