How do I change field labels or captions?

LIMS-plus IMUA offers far more options in regards to custom field labels or captions. System administrators can change the label that is displayed for all fields using the tailorable label screen.

Access Tailorable Labels

From the ADMIN menu, hover your mouse over User Interface and click Tailorable Label.

Locate the Caption or Label you Want to Change

The list of field captions is very long. You can filter the list by typing some text in one of the filter boxes at the top of a column.

Once you locate the caption you want to change, click the edit button.

Edit the Caption

In the Label Value box, type the new caption.

Click Save.
