Laboratory staff or supervisors may need to assign Administrative Reviews to other staff members or groups in an efficient manner. This feature will allow them to do that, and will automatically notify the staff member to whom the Administrative Review is assigned.
Select Assign Admin Review from the Analysis Menu.
The user is able to see all cases that are currently awaiting Administrative Review. The grid shows the Case Number, Request Number, Service Name, the user who is currently Assigned To the review, and the Status.
To assign one or more reviews, check the box(es) next to the Case Number (1). To check or uncheck all boxes at once, the box in the header row can be used. Then click the Assign button (2).
Only requests that are Unassigned may be Assigned. If you wish to re-assign an Administrative Review, first check the box(es) for the services you wish to un-assign and then select Unassign (3). You may then follow the above instructions to Assign the review.
To assign the Administrative Review to a user or group, check the box next to the user name or group name. You can also view all the current assignments for each user by clicking on the '+' sign next to the user/group name.
Note: Only those staff members, or groups, who have the proper permissions to Admin Review the selected requests will appear in the list for selection.
The grid can be sorted or filtered depending on how the user wishes to view the list.
To sort by a column, click on the column header. E.g. to sort all entities by Service, click on the Service Name header shown by the red arrow.
To filter a column, type into the field immediately below the column header. E.g. to filter Services so that only Firearms Projectile Analysis requests are showing, type "Firearms" into the field immediately below the Service Name header, shown by the blue arrow.
